About this Project

What do you get up for in the morning? If today was the last day of your life – how would you like to spend it? What makes you genuinely happy?

When was the last time you asked yourself questions like these? When you were 8 years old and grown-ups wanted to know what you want to be as an adult? After your graduation when you had to figure out what you really want to do with your life? After the birth of your first child? At the deathbed of a beloved one?

frente a frente (Spanish: face to face) is an interview and photography project in which I explore the pursuit of happiness all over the world. This is what truly unites us all across frontiers and cultural barriers. What is the concept of a good life in each country? Are there many regional and cultural differences, does age matter?

Interviews that will inspire you to live a happy life

With every conversation we have the chance to be inspired by each individual approach, face to face we learn from each other.

Let me share with you all the amazing thoughts and insights of all the people I have met on my current journey from Nicaragua to Tierra del Fuego. It is also a way of improving my Spanish – therefore if you find any mistakes, please let me know…

I hope you enjoy and feel as inspired as I am.

If you do, please let me know in the comments or send me an email to jane@frenteafrente.net
